"Lost" as a Video Game? How would you Win?

According to Commingsoon.net, Ubisoft, makers of many games on several platforms, has signed up to produce a game based on the ABC TV show Lost.  I'm all for creating games from shows, but how, exactly, would someone WIN this game?

I'm assuming that the producers of the show would hide clues all through the game that are consistent with the mythology of the show, but what would be the primary objective?  To get off the island? No way.

The game would probably revolve around some smaller plot point - getting back a lost character, rebuffing an attacking polar bear, dealing with the others, something like that.  But if that is the case, will it be enough for people - namely the purchasing public - to care?  I'd plop down 40 bucks on a game like this if:  1) The graphics were insane (a-la King Kong) 2) the gameplay was established and 3) I could learn something about the show from finishing the game.

IMHO: Ubisoft missed the boat here.  They should have started earlier and had the game ready to go right now - when interest is at it's peak.  Launching the game the week after the season finale to give the fans something to do until the fall would be the perfect marketing strategy.

Then again, if they do this game justice, we might just see it launch after the NEXT season finale.  Another look at the article shows that the game will hit shelves in 2007.  What do you bet it'll be in the 3rd week of May?  We'll see.
